Called to Build, Called to Serve
Called to Build, Called to Serve
When I think about my future, I don’t just see a career — I see a calling. I believe God is calling me to be a builder — not just of businesses, but of communities, opportunities, and hope. Growing up in Compton, I saw struggle, but I also saw strength. I learned the value of hard work from my parents, who ran a small dry-cleaning shop. I learned leadership and creativity from my older brother, who started a dance group that connected us to our culture and faith. Through these experiences, I’ve come to believe that my vocation is to use business and leadership as tools to serve others — especially my family and community.
I plan to study Business Administration and Accounting at Cal State Fullerton, and eventually, I want to start my own business. My goal is generational wealth — not just for myself, but to give back to those who believed in me. I want to build something that lasts, that uplifts others, and that reflects God’s abundance. But vocation isn’t just about work — it’s about love. I feel called to be a man of integrity, grounded in faith, generous with my time and talents. Whether it’s helping at my parents' shop, supporting my brother’s side business, or dancing to honor God — I know my path is about service.
